Salon trained locs require the most care and attention. If you prefer low maintenanced locs ( not to be confused with NO MAINTENANCE) then 'free formed' locs are for you. All types of Locs require regular grooming, depending on the method you choose, twisted and free form locs need to be shampooed, conditioned, oiled ,separated and retwisted at the roots (new growth). Hair is shinier, retains more moisture, less breakage, and color fades less. This is more than your average steam treatment, and is essential for healthy hair. 10 min deep conditioning treatments.
Trimming hair: 4a4b hair - should always be blown out to trim. 3a3b hair should be trimmed wet and curly. 3c - can be either blown out or cut wet depending on the density of the hair. Start with just trimming 1/2-1in. of hair. This should be done every 8-10weeks. After cutting/trimming hair, be sure to spray the hair with a good leave-in conditioner to kink it back up, so that U can see the trim better! This is an hourly rate to remove box braids, hair installments, previous styles. If it takes more than 15mins to remove, you will be charged $25, and any additional after an hour. If you have questions, please contact the owner or stylist in advance.
